Bunny a bundle of energy
Malayalam actor Govind Padmasoorya, dearly known as GP, is yet to come out of the glory that his Telugu debut 'Ala Vaikunthapurramloo' has brought in.
The year 2020 appears to be quite promising for this television anchor-turned-actor as he just could not contain his excitement for sharing screen space with Allu Arjun as well as working with filmmaker Trivikram Srinivas.
"Allu Arjun is a 'sweetheart' and a bundle of energy. His positive attitude is so contagious. It's wonderful to work with him," GP shares.
The actor considers working with Trivikram Srinivas a great experience he would cherish for long. "Trivikram Srinivas is extremely dedicated filmmaker and pays attention to each and every scene that he films. There is no question of compromise on any frame that he eyes on as the director aspires for nothing less than perfection," recalls GP, who considers himself fortunate to get an opportunity to team up with Trivikram Srinivas in his maiden Telugu movie.
Be it an intimidating 'baddie' in Tamil flick 'Kee' or the lead character in Malayalam movie 'Atayalangal' that bagged five Kerala state awards or the negative role of Pydi Talli in 'Ala Vaikunthapurramloo', Govind Padmasoorya says he is adept at switching over roles that too in different languages effortlessly. "Language is not a barrier to me as long as I enjoy what I am doing," GP told The Hans India when he was in Visakhapatnam.
At present, GP is handling half a dozen multilingual projects. Though the actor is getting offers in Malayalam film industry, he is looking forward to work in Telugu movies. "Tollywood is more disciplined. Everything here is time-bound and well organised," observes Govind Padmasoorya, who finds the Telugu audience quite warm and welcoming.
