Bunny keen on misogynist plot?
Reigning star Allu Arjun is determined to the do remake of Hindi film 'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety' and step into the shoes of Kartik Aaryan.
"Some of his friends are discouraging him because it has a misogynist plot and may not suit the stature and larger-than-life image of Allu Arjun," says a source, close to the unit.
"Everyone liked the humourous moments in the film but the confusion in hero's character has forced friends to discourage Bunny.
May be, it would have been good for him during his days of 'Arya 2', but now it looks risky," the source adds.
Nonetheless, Allu Arjun wants to re-define his lover boy image with this Hindi remake to break-away from his action star image which he gained after movies like 'Sarrainodu'.
"Bunny is keen to do this remake, although, he hasn't done Hindi remakes in the past.
With some corrections in the script and screenplay, he feels it would suit him because it is a new-age romantic comedy where the protagonist is prejudiced against women, a perfect recipe of young generation audience," the source concludes. It looks like, 'Arya' star wants to explore another role with 'grey' shades.
