'Burrakatha,' a different kind of movie

The teaser and motion poster of the film, 'Burrakatha,' with Adi Sai Kumar and Misti Chakravarthi as the lead pair was released in Hyderabad on Monday.

Bankrolled by Srikanth Deepala and Kishore under the banner of Deepala Arts and presented by Beeram Sudhakar Reddy, 'Burrakatha' is being helmed by Diamond Ratnababu, who will be making his debut as director.

Earlier, Ratnababu was a writer for films like 'Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham' and 'Eedorakam-Aadorakam'. Adi Sai Kumar said that fun-centric portions came out well and expressed the hope that the film would do well at the box office.

In his speech, Ajay Bhupathi said that the first film's box office success was crucial for any new director and he along with Shiva Nirvana crossed the hurdle successfully. Now, it was the turn of Ratna Babu, he added. He said Adi was brilliant doing comic capers and action thrillers.
