Dad would have enjoyed Venki Mama: Venkatesh

The multi star-studded film, 'Venki Mama' with Venkatesh, Naga Chaitanya, Payal Rajput and Raasi Khanna is ready to hit the screens worldwide on December 13.

Speaking to the media in Hyderabad on Wednesday, producer D Suresh Babu said human relations have been depicted excellently on the celluloid in 'Venky Mama by director Bobby.' It has all the emotional ingredients blended in the right proportions.

He said that when he heard the story from Janardhana Maharishi more than a year ago, he felt it was nice and could be made into a film. He said that the shooting of the movie was done in beautiful locales in Kashmir, Rajahmundry and Hyderabad. In Kashmir, they shot for 25 days facing lot of risks.

Although he shot in several countries for the shooting of his films, he said that Kashmir towers over them all in terms of beautiful landscapes, rivers, mountains, valleys, etc and felt proud that Kashmir forms a part of India. The last film that they shot in Kashmir was 'Brahmaputrudu'

He said that the pre-release event would be held on December 7. Venkatesh, who is playing the leading role in the film, said that it would be a very special film for him in his entire career as he always liked to work with his nephews Daggupati Rana and Naga Chaitanya. He said that he misses his father Rama Naidu on the occasion and felt that the latter would have enjoyed a lot after watching 'Venky Mama.' Chaitanya did a fabulous job, he added.

Speaking on the occasion, Naga Chaitanya said that he was thrilled to work in 'Venky Mama' which would remain as an important and memorable film along with 'Manam' in his entire filmy career. Such movies cannot be replaced or repeated, he added.
