Dhanush to reprise Chai's role?

If industry sources are to be believed, Tamil star Dhanush is all set to reprise the role of Naga Chaitanya in Tamil remake of blockbuster 'Majili' which is minting pots of money on two Telugu states and worldover.

"Dhanush has bought the remake rights since he was impressed with the storyline," says a source. This is an interesting choice from Dhanush as he will be a perfect fit to reprise the role of Chay in the film.

Though an official confirmation about the film is yet to be made, this news has gone viral.

'Majili' has been directed by Shiva Nirvana and it will be interesting to see who will direct this film in Tamil.

Earlier, Dhanush was seen in Tamil film 'Yaaradi Nee Mohini', remake of Telugu film 'Aadavari Matalakku Ardhale Verule', 'Kutti, remake of Telugu film 'Arya'' and 'Utthamaputhiran', remake of Telugu film 'Ready' to name some of the remakes he tasted success with in the past.
