Gopichand plays a RAW agent

The film, 'Chanakya,' an interesting spy thriller with Gopichand in the male lead and Mehreeh Perzada and Zareen Khan in the female leads is being bankrolled by Ramabrahmam Sunkara under the banner of AK Entertainments and is helmed by director Thiru.

This engrossing spy thriller is being released worldwide on the occasion of Dussera. Already, the teaser and trailer of the film, which were released, evoked tremendous response from the audience and naturally, the expectations on this film have soared among the audience and also in the Telugu film industry.

Speaking to the media about the film at the Prasad Labs in Hyderabad on Sunday, Gopichand said that when director Thiru narrated the story to him two years ago, he liked it immediately but made a few suggestions.

Thiru depicted the film on the celluloid perfectly after incorporating the changes suggested by him, he added. He also thanked the producer for not compromising on the quality of the movie at any stage.

The photography of Vetri was very beautiful and the dialogues gripping, he added. Thiru said that it was his first film in Telugu after directing four films in Tamil.

He said that he liked the script of the film very much and added that Gopi did a good job as a RAW agent. Producer Anil Sunkara said that 'Chanakya' was an interesting spy thriller.

He said that Gopichand was very cooperative in the making of the film and a comfortable person to work with.
