How Much Did Netflix Pay Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo Makers For Online Streaming Rights?

Allu Arjun's Sankranti release Ala Vaikuntapurramuloo has gone live on OTT. The sankranthi box office winner which hit theatres alongside Mahesh Babu's Sarileru Neekevvaru has overtaken the movie on the OTT too. Mahesh movie is yet to be streamed online.

Ala Vaikuntapurramloo features Tollywood Stylish Star Allu Arjun, Pooja Hegde, Sushanth, Murali Sharma, Tabu, Navdeep, Nivetha Pethuraj in key roles. The movie was directed by none other than Tollywood's renowned director Trivikram Srinivas, who is known as the wizard of words.

The movie marked the comeback of Bunny after a two year hiatus. His previous movie Naa Peru Surya in which the actor played an angry soldier bombed at the box office. However his latest release Ala Vaikuntapurramuloo reestablished Bunny's star status and became an all time hit. The songs created records on Youtube much before the movie hit theatres while the movie itself created non Baahubali records at the box office, beating even Sarileru Neekevvaru.

So kicked was Allu Arjun about the movie success that he threw a part for all his colleagues in the industry, particularly Tollywood directors at his house. Then he had a private bash at an upscale pub in Hyderabad for the media fraternity.

Allu Arjun's latest release Ala Vaikuntapurramuloo is now being streamed live on Netflix. Now, the biggest question in trade circles is how much did Netflix buy the online streaming rights for to the makers of Ala Vaikuntapurramloo.
