Hyderabad: Telugu serial actress Navya Swamy tests positive for coronavirus

Telugu serial actress Navya Swamy who acted in the popular serials like Naa Peru Meenakshi' and 'Aame Katha' has tested positive for coronavirus and is currently under quarantine.

Getting into details, the TV management conducted tests on the serial crew and her result turned positive. The incident has led to panic among the serial unit. Soon after the result came positive, all the actors and other technical staff have undergone tests.

Navya Swamy has resumed her work two weeks ago after the government gave its nod to TV shootings. Earlier, a Television actor Boddu Prabhakar was also tested positive for the virus.

The government accorded permission for the resumption of shootings in the state. A GO issued on it has stated that the working staff should not shake hands while greeting others at the offices or at the premises of the shooting.

The government has also made thermal screening at entering/exiting studio, sanitizers and masks mandatory. While the hand gloves and masks are made mandatory for the cleaning staff.
