I liked the honesty in 'Dorasaani', says Sukumar
New-age director Sukumar, who launched the trailer of 'Dorasaani' on Monday, at a grand event said that Telugu cinema is changing for better. "Director Mahendra moved from a short film to big screen.
His visual taste is reflected in the trailer. Telugu cinema is changing for good as the audience are patronising honest movies,". In his speech, Madhura Sreedhar, added, "Mahendra narrated a honest story to me and made the film with the same passion by retaining the 'flavour' and 'spirit' of the realistic story. Already, our film triggered a buzz in the industry."
Debutant Anand claimed it to be a `special' day. "Special movie me for various reasons. When I was at the trailer launch of 'Pellichoopulu', I was in tears when my brother Vijay Devarakonda gave his speech. I gave up my job in US to pursue acting. I am happy that banners which supported Vijay, are also supporting my maiden movie," he addds.
Sivathmika claimed that film industry is extended family for her. "I am a big fan of Sukumar movies. I am glad to play titular role of Dorasaani in my debut flick and thank one and all for it. At home, its movie environment, so filmdom is like an extended family, for me." The period saga set to to hit the screens on July 12.
