Kranthi to produce 4 movies?

Tasteful director Kranthi Madhav, who is directing Vijay Devarakonda in 'World Famous Lover,' is planning to produce a bunch of movies under his soon-to-be-launched banner.

"Initially, Kranthi wants to produce four movies and has been listening to scripts from young directors," says an industry source, who says that Kranthi Madhav who made heart-wrenching movies like 'Onamalu' and 'Malli Malli Idhi Rani Roju,' believes that content driven movies will pay big dividends.

"He has taste for good cinema and wants to promote refreshing movies without compromising on budget or content. Rather than clichéd stories, he has asked directors to come up with novel concepts since he wants to offer Telugu viewers some path-breaking stuff," the source adds.

Of course, he will be directing films for his banner as well for outsiders, but wants to establish a production house to open a window for aspiring filmmakers who are brimming with fresh ideas.

"Despite being a director-turned-producer, he will give complete freedom to directors and doesn't want to poke his noise in the creative aspects of the movie," the source concludes.

Nonetheless, he joins the elite bandwagon of directors-turned producers like Puri Jagannath, Gunasekhar, Krishna Vamsi, Krish, Sukumar, Sampath Nandi and Madhura Sreedhar, to expand his brand equity.
