Mahesh Babu expanding his brand equity
After production house and theatres, superstar Mahesh Babu launched his clothline. He looked uber cool during the launch of his clothing brand Humbl two days ago. Mahesh said that his clothing brand reflects his personality.
He reminded that he is extremely comfortable in jeans and checked shirts. Not only a business plan, Mahesh said that Humbl provides employment for several rural weavers.
"My personality reflects in the brand. We had a series of discussions with Spoyl and Humbl did not happen overnight. I am extremely excited about the collaboration. We have a vast collection coming with Humbl.
"The Roots collection is quite special for our clothing brand as it provides employment for rural weavers. When I first went on a date with Namrata, I sported a checked shirt.
"I am lined up with several interesting projects for the next two years. I thank all my fans for trending my birthday across social media circles" said Mahesh.
No doubt, Mahesh Babu is turning a shrewd businessman these days.
After launching a production house with 'Srimanthudu', the son of superstar Krishna threw open AMB Cinemas, a swanky 7-screen superplex theatre, in Hyderabad city few months ago, by joining hands with Asian Group, who run a chain of theatres.
"Surely, Mahesh Babu is ahead of his peers in expanding his brand equity. Apart from production, theatres and now clothline, along with numerous brand endorsements, he is minting money by cashing in on his rising popularity.
Earlier, he expanded the market of Telugu cinema in USA and other foreign countries.
Recently, he rocked Tamil Nadu box office with his political thriller 'Bharat Ane Nenu' which garnered more than Rs 8 crore net collections and proved that Telugu stars can make their presence felt in neighbouring state.
He has almost become the face of Telugu cinema in north-India as well, so sky is limit for the son of legendary actor Krishna," says Tamil producer S Dhanu.
