Nagarjuna to woo newbie, not Kajal?

Contrary to the reports making rounds in various media, seasoned star Nagarjuna will be romancing a new girl and not Kajal Agarwal in his upcoming big-ticket movie with director Solomon, the co-writer of 'Oopiri' and 'Maharshi.'

"Nagarjuna will be wooing a new girl since the role is not a full-fledged one. Hence, Nag himself ruled out Kajal since he felt that the role doesn't justify her image and talent," says a source, close to the unit.

Probably, the rumours gained credence since the 'King' star romanced Rakul Preet Singh in his last outing 'Manmadhudu 2' and doesn't mind romancing another young heroine, but now it is altogether a different story.

"Already, Nag and Solomon resolved to search for a pretty damsel, mostly a newcomer, who would fit aptly into the character," the source adds.

Perhaps, even Kajal could have liked to play Nagarjuna's love interest since she shared screen space with Chiranjeevi in 'Khaidi No 150' but now she has to wait for some time.

Currently, the film is in the pre-production stage and it is expected to go on the floors in December. Nagarjuna will be playing the role of a cop and donning khakhis, if the sources are to be believed.

The action drama will be bankrolled by Matinee Entertainments.

No doubt, Nagarjuna will be hoping to bounce back into the reckoning with his upcoming movie since he had suffered few duds like 'Officer' and 'Manmadhudu 2'.
