Nayan okays Rana's offer?
Dusky actress Nayantara has reportedly agreed to play a cop in Rana Daggupati's production after Keerthy Suresh declined the same.
"Nayantara listened to the script and agreed to play a police woman since it will be a different role in her happening career," says a source from Chennai.
Actually, Rana's team approached the 'Sye Raa...' actress for the remake of a Korean movie, which is tale of a cop who takes on the might of drug mafia and she gave her nod, while other modalities are being worked out.
"It is being planned to be made in Tamil-Telugu languages and Nayan suggested the name of her friend and director Vignesh Shivan to helm the project, but nothing is fixed yet," the source adds.
Nayantara, who played a District Collector in 'Kartavyam' and a CBI officer in 'Anjali, is all set to expand her larger-than-life image by playing a fiery cop in Rana's home production.
"In fact, Nayantara is also thinking of being a partner in this project since the film is a perfect commercial entertainer and also cop stories are considered a safe bet," the source points out.
Besides Tamil and Malayalam industries, Nayantara carved a niche for herself in T-town with big movies like 'Tulasi,' 'Adhurs,' 'Simha' and 'Legend'.
The talented actress also enthralled Telugu viewers with her dubbed movies like 'Mayuri' and 'Dora.'
