Pawan Kalyan gets a fancy offer?
After campaigning hard for the Andhra Pradesh Assembly and Parliament elections, superstar Pawan Kalyan was taking rest awaiting the elections results. During this break, he was reportedly offered Rs 30 crore for a film by Mythri Movie Makers since they know that his charisma and popularity is still intact. "If Pawan accepts the offer, he will become the highest paid Telugu actor surpassing his colleagues like Mahesh Babu and Prabhas," says an industry source and adds ''Producers have asked him to allot just 40 days for the film and they are planning an action-centric adventure," the source adds.
Actually, Mythri Movie Makers wanted to remake the Tamil film 'Theri' with Pawan Kalyan two years ago, but things didn't fall in place. With Pawan deciding to jump on the political bandwagon, the producers later approached Ravi Teja but it is yet to take off. "The producers have readied an exciting script that would suit the larger-than-life image of the 'Gabbar Singh' star but Pawan is yet to take a final call," the source points out.
Apart from director Santhosh Srinivas, even Harris Shankar is in the pipeline to direct the movie. Pawan Kalyan was last seen in 'Katamarayudu' but it failed to set the box office on fire. His top grosser remains 'Atharintiki Dharedi,' while 'Sardar Gabbar Singh' drew good openings but lost the steam after few days.
