Prabhas, Mahesh Will Race Ahead of Jr NTR and Charan

Prabhas's latest release Sahoo may have been panned by the critics but the movie did create a lot of hype and also increased the market for the Telugu Rebel Star. Prabhas proved his mettle as an actor in movies like Mirchi, Yogi, Mr Perfect and Billa. But Rajamouli's Baahubali changed Prabhas into a pan India star that.

He even became the first South Indian actor along with Rana to appear on Karam Johar's TV chat show Koffee With Karan. Now, he's busy with the shooting of Jaan directed by Radha Krishna. A production house today made an announcement that their next will be with Nag Ashwin (of Mahanati fame) and Prabhas.

This has thrilled the actor's fans who are happy with the way his career is progressing. The actor too is happy with the pace of his movies after big budget movies like Baahubali and Saaho which took up a good chunk of his time.

Meanwhile, superstar Mahesh Babu too is said to be on a signing spree. He's been on a winning spree as all his previous releases have turned out to be super duper hits except Murugadoss's Spyder which had raised a lot of expectations. Mahesh has been doing a lot of movies with social themes as the central plot like Maharshi which dealt with farmers issues, Bharat Ane Nenu which revolved around the flaws in the political system and the very recent Sarileru Neekevvaru which talks about the struggles of a soldier and his family's plight after his martyrdom. Mahesh won a zillion hearts with his role as Ajay Krishna.

Now, both these actors have been flooded with movie offers. The reason being two other talented stars in Tollywood are occupied with Rajamouli's magnum opus RRR. The film was initially supposed to release in July 2020 but the makers recently announced that RRR release had been postponed. This has affected the schedule of the lead actors Jr NTR aka Tarak and Ram Charan a great deal. Now, like they say make hay while the sun shines.

And both mahesh and Prabhas seem to be doing just that. Grabbing the opportunities coming their way with both hands. At this rate if the actors go on a winning spree , then they are sure to overtake Jr NTR and Charan.
