Rajinikanth's 'intro' song out

The first song from the much-hyped multilingual movie 'Darbar' was released on Tuesday and it has triggered good response, aver makers. The song titled 'Dhummu Dhooli' (Chumma Killi in Tamil) has been sung by the veteran SP Balasubrahmanyam, who has sung many 'introduction songs' for superstar in movies like 'Muthu', 'Padaiyappa' and 'Shivaji'.

Now, music sensation, Anirudh, who is scoring the music for the second time for his uncle Rajinikanth, after 'Petta' has confirmed the same and hoping to strike a chord with music listeners across the world.

The makers added that Rajinikanth visited Anirudh's studio on Saturday to listen to the song and was mighty impressed by it. For years, we've had SPB singing for Rajini's characters in films.

The film bankrolled by Lyca Productions has Santosh Sivan handling the cinematography for the film. The film has piqued the interest of Rajinikanth fans as the actor will don the khakis after 25 long years. Touted to be cop story, Rajinikanth playing a police officer named Aditya, is paired opposite Nayanthara.
