Reality of Sarileru Neekevvaru vs Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo in Public

Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, Sarileru Neekevvaru, Entha Manchivadavuraa, and Darbar released during Sankranthi this year. While Darbar ended as an average movie, and Entha Manchivadavuraa as a disaster, the other two films became blockbusters with a unique competition with one another.

From the promotional campaign to planning a huge release in the theatres, the producers of both the films competed tightly before the release. Even after the release, they initiated a mini-war on social media by releasing Industry Hit posters and announcing the film's collections.

Comparatively, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo exhibited domination over the other film. Stil, team Sarileru Neekevvaru went overboard to promote the film post-release but finally received a negative talk for the same. Slowly, the team also realized the truth that the audiences lost interest in their movie. Now, there is no noise from the makers of Sarileru Neekevvaru. The film became a hit in Telugu states but failed at the box-office in the USA.

On the other side, the audiences are positive towards Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. Their Thanks Meet also became a big hit. But, they are also claiming that it became a non-Baahubali hit. The trade argues that the film is yet to cross Rangasthalam records at the box-office.

The general audience talk is that both the films became a hit which is a fact but they tried to over-promote it only to ruin a certain amount of buzz.
