Sundeep misses summer 'goal'
Young actor Sundeep Kishan plays an hockey player in his upcoming film 'A1 Express'. It was supposed to hit the screens during summer this year but has been deferred due to lockdown of theatres. "A small portion of shooting is remaining, while post-production work would begin soon," says a source, close to the unit. Tipped to be the first hockey-based Telugu film, the makers unveiled a poster of Sundeep Kishan on the occasion of his birthday. "It is a new-age sports movie with loads of entertainment," he adds.
After tasting moderate success with horror flick 'Ninu Veedani Needanu Nene,' Sundeep Kishan looks upbeat with an interesting line-up of films. Debutant Dennis Jeevan Kanukolanu is helming the much-awaited film. Besides essaying the protagonist's role, Sundeep is also bankrolling the project in association with People Media Factory and Abhishek Agarwal Arts banners. Popular musician Hiphop Tamizha has been roped in to compose the tunes.
'A1 Express' boasts of an impressive star cast with the likes of Priyadarshi, Rahul Ramakrishna, Murli Sharma and Srinivas Avasarala. The entire cast of the film has undergone a month-long hockey training to understand the nuances of the sport.
