Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy Film: Narasimha Reddy's kin stage sit-in at Ram Charan's office
Hyderabad: Megastar Chiranjeevi's upcoming film "Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy" is embroiled in a controversy.
The family members of Uyyalavada Narsimha Reddy on Sunday staged a sit-in at the office of the producer of the movie Ram Charan Teja at Jubilee Hills here.
They demanded that the producer pay compensation as promised. The family members alleged that the film produce had failed to honour his promise of paying honorarium.
They also said the filmmaker had executed an agreement with them, promising to pay compensation by June 30.
When the family members demanded compensation, the filmmakers ignored their demand. They also alleged that the filmmakers had used their properties to shoot the movie, but failed to pay rent for it.
The life story of Narsimha Reddy was completely changed. Tension prevailed as the agitators raised slogans.
Since the Producer Ram Charan was not present, his manager held discussions with the family members of Uyyalawada Narsimha Reddy and persuaded them to withdraw the protest.
The film is reportedly scheduled for release shortly.
