HYDERABAD: The much anticipated KCR biopic to go the floors on March 29, a fortnight before voting day. The movie, 'Udyama Simham,' has been made by Alluri Krishnam Raju, an NRI who is a native of Bhimavaram in Andhra Pradesh. It is being distributed in Telangana by top producer Dil Raju and bankrolled by Kalvakuntla Nageshwar Rao under the banner of Padmanayanka Productions.

KCR is not only a renowned politician but also a statehood activist. He left a good impression in the field of politics. He appears to have striven for the formation of a separate state of Telangana, which had a tendency to widen. He changed the face of Telangana and put the interest of all people in his heart when he took the plunge into politics. With such a remarkable life, his biopic would be much-awaited one by the Telugu. But due to a heightened rivalry between KCR and his AP counterpart N Chandrababu Naidu, no distributor has come forward to screen the movie in AP so far.

Tamil Actor Karate Rajan is portraying the role of KCR. The feature film is likely to stir up controversy in political circles over some of the roles, particularly that of former Congress CM'S such as M Channa Reddy, YS Rajashekher Reddy, and Kiran Kumar Reddy, and former Congress MP Lagadapati Rajagopal over their stand on separate Telangana. Apart from Congress leaders, the film reportedly highlights the cash for vote case in which former TDP MLA A Revanth Reddy and others are facing charges.

Telangana agitation will be an integral component. The filmmakers say... That one this is sure - the main protagonist who played a vital role in the formation of India's youngest, the 29th state is making waves in the film industry.

The life and struggle of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao are is been shown in the film. Mr. Rao's life and from his persepective of the struggle, the Telangana agitation will be an integral component. Nothing mattered to Mr. Rao as to who said what and who thought what about him.. his mission was one his battle was only one. he knew only one thing his "STATE" he fought till he achieved. And this is the history we witnessed and we are now in a NEW State.

The movie mainly focuses on the injustice meted out the region in united AP and how KCR led the movement. The film has got a certificate from the censor Board and will be relased on March 29, Krishnam Raju said.

The movie would also provide an insight into the KCR's hunger strike, NIMS hospital episode, the cash-for vote case in 2015 and attempt of some andhraites who opposed separate statehood for Telangana will be showcased in the film.
