Varun Tej turns a boxer

A new movie of the young actor Varun Tej has gone on floors recently. Bankrolled by Suddhu Mudda and Allu Venkatesh and presented by ace producer Allu Aravind jointly under the banner of Renaissance Films and Bluewater Creative, the film yet to be named is being helmed by Kiran Korrapati.

Bollywood lass Sayee Manjrekar will be playing the female lead. Varun Tej has already two recent hits, 'F2'and 'Gajjalakonda Ganesh' under his belt and carved a niche for himself in Tollywood.

Speaking to the media in Hyderabad on Friday, Krian Korrapati said in this film, Varun Tej will be donning the role of a boxer and for it, the protagonist has gone all the way to the USA to learn boxing to get into the skin of the character and make it realistic.

The first schedule of the film began on February 24 and the shooting was completed in Visakhapatnam for 15 days. He said that the makers planning to release the film on July 30.

Kiran said that the next schedule will begin in Hyderabad on April 3.

While Thaman has given the background score, George Williams has cranked the camera, Kiran added. Nadia and Naveen Chandra will be seen in other important roles.
