Venkatesh to join hands with struggling director

After 'Krishna Gadi Veera Prema Gaadha' movie, director Hanu Raghavapudi scored two back to back disasters with Nithiin's 'Lie' and Sharwanand's 'Padi Padi Leche Manasu' movies.

But now, the director has got a big opportunity to do a remake film. We already know that Victory Venkatesh is awaiting the release of his upcoming movie 'Venky Mama' under the direction of KS Ravindra aka Bobby. Apart from that, Venky has recently signed to do the official Telugu remake of Tamil superhit film 'Asuran' starring Dhanush. Suresh Productions is on board to bankroll this project. It seems like the makers have roped in struggling director Hanu Raghavapudi to helm this project. The regular shoot of the film will go on sets from January next year.

Touted to be an action drama, Vetrimaaran helmed the original version in which Manju Warrier played the female lead. More details regarding the Telugu version of the project are yet to be to get announced.
