Vijayashanthi approached for Pushpa?

Stylish star Allu Arjun whose recent outing 'Ala Vaikunthapurramloo' became a blockbuster is all set to come up with his upcoming movie 'Pushpa' under the direction of Sukumar. The expectations are sky-high on the movie which is going to come out as the third outing of Bunny and Sukku after 'Arya' and 'Arya 2' movies. The first look poster of the film has already received a thumping response from the audience. We already knew that the shooting of the film got halted because of the ongoing pandemic and now the makers have finally kick-started the shoot recently.

Interestingly, there is a buzz that the makers added an interesting character to the script and approached Vijaya Shanthi to play the same. But, it looks like the senior actress politely declined to be a part of the film. The film unit is now in look out for another senior actress.

Rashmika Mandanna is playing the female lead in this movie. Mythri Movie Makers are bankrolling this project. Devi Sri Prasad is composing tunes for this film.
