Yash's KGF 2 Makers Get First Shock: Top Actress Rejects Movie

Yash's much-awaited film KGF Chapter 2, a sequel to a multilingual movie is under production. Yet the movie continues to make headlines for one reason or the other. Only yesterday we told you that senior Telugu actor Rao Ramesh had been roped in to play a key role in the Yash movie. The news was announced by KGF director Prashanth Neel.

After that, there was a lot of talk about the makers approaching Baahubali actress Ramya Krishnan to play a key role. Now, we hear that the actress has rejected the movie.

Apparently, she was the first choice to play the role which will be played by Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon. However, things didn't work out between the production house and the actress with respect to remuneration and finally, the Bollywood actress grabbed the chance with both hands. As per a report doing the rounds, Ramya Krishnan demanded a big paycheque to do the role in KGF Chapter 2. There is no official confirmation about this from the makers. Anyway, one person's loss benefits the other. So Ramya's loss is Raveena's gain.

Apart from Yash, KGF also features Bollywood actors Sanjay Dutt and Raveena besides there are also Srinidhi Shetty, Achyuth Kumar, Malavika Avinash and Archana Jois in key roles. The star cast is impressive and people would kill to grab a role in the movie as there is a lot of hype surrounding it after the success of KGF Chapter I. So, perhaps the makers did not expect an actor to reject the offer. This is probably the first shock, that is if this really happened as rumour mills have it!!
