Why Did Mirchi Actress Richa Quit Films?
Richa Gangopadhyay who entered the film industry with Rana Duggabati starrer 'Leader' has now become Richa Langella after marrying a foreigner Jo Langella. Talented Richa left the film industry about seven years back.
Richa, who was a big name in the South Indian film industry and a familiar face among fans, worked with many Superstars like Nagarjuna, Rana Duggabati, Dhanush, Prabhas, Ravi Teja, and others.
The actress bid goodbye to the cinema field when she was at the peak of her acting career. The last movie that she worked in was with Nagarjuna in 2013 in "Bhai" after which the actress stayed permanently away from the tinsel world.
The Tamil movie "Mayakkam Enna' in which Richa acted with Dhanush was a super hit movie which was released nine years ago in November. On this occasion, Richa posted a series of tweets in which the actress has stated about the reasons for leaving the film industry.
"I left acting to do my MBA. I was very much interested in Marketing and Brand Management. I met my life partner while I was doing my MBA. I married Jo Langella who was also doing his MBA. My decision to act in movies was a good choice. My doing MBA and there by settling in my life by virtue of that degree is also a very good decision I took in my life," thus tweeted Richa.
