China's aggression and India's countermoves

China’s aggression and India’s countermoves

Since, China is trampling all over the world under the cover of the pandemic- crippled globe, to wield their prowess particularly in Southeast Asia over others' territories and claim territories of historic Tibetan areas of India as its own, many Tibetans think that India should once and for all come out strong and break that ceiling of political hypocrisy and declare and recognise with conscientious solidarity, that Tibet is not a part of China and that its historical place as buffer state be restored. India should realise that all its problems with China stem from this area.

It is here that China keeps laying claim to push the boundaries of Tibet further into India. We have done a very crucial miscalculation in agreeing that Tibet is a part of China though we sheltered the Dalai Lama here.

Tibet was never part of China, historically speaking. This shift on India's policy towards China would spark a worldwide support to Tibet's cause. The United States House of Representatives have already passed a bill to recognize Tibetan Autonomous Region as an independent country and in all probability, it will get full bi-partisan support.

Tibetan scholars have long since been arguing that Tibet has lost enough under ruthless China with seventy years of relentless pillage and rape of Tibet.

Why should we not support Tibetans in their quest for independence from the treacherous rule of China? Is China stopping support of Pakistan despite the knowledge of it being our number one enemy.

It is not only eating away into our territory in Gilgit and Baltistan but also has planned to cut off supplies to Siachen glacier and render the entire Ladakh region vulnerable to not only its machinations but also that of Pakistani Army. General Musharraf failed in his designs when he was handed out a deathblow in the Kargil skirmish.

Now China wants to do what Musharraf has failed to achieve. Have a closer look at the geo-political reality of the present day world. Tensions are increasing between the US and China, between India and China, between China and the world and this is our best bet and the best time to challenge China.

As has been reiterated by the Indians often 2020 is certainly not 1962.

Our superior naval power, our extraordinarily trained high altitude Mountain Corps and our everpreparedness pose a daunting task for China. We should, meanwhile, also realise that Xi Jinping has a bigger plan on his hands. It is called "Community with a shared future for mankind".

This is the name given by him to wield control over the world by capturing all major institutions like the WHO and the UN etc. Though still fighting for greater control of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, it has determinedly captured the leadership of four key United Nations agencies that set international rules and standards.

It almost claimed a fifth, the World Intellectual Property Organization, this year, as experts point out. India is the only power now that can rock the Chinese boat dangerously and unite all anti-China forces.

Xi knows that India has the capacity to drive a spoke in its plans. India should understand China's weaknesses and play along aggressively.
