Pakistan loses cool as Modi bags accolades

Over the weekend, two countries of the Islamic world — the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain honoured Prime Minister Narendra Modi with their highest honours. While UAE's Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan conferred his country's highest civilian award — The Order of Zayed, Bahrain's king honoured the PM with the 'King Hamad Order of the Renaissance' for development.

Of course, this is not a palatable news to Pakistan, and it is already crying hoarse over the same. It is trying to project an impression to its citizens that the awards are being conferred by the Islamic nations on Narendra Modi only due to business considerations.

Secondly, those are all ignorant about the Kashmiri situation, they claim. All those who appear in news seem to bank heavily on the claims of the Opposition parties in India to castigate India further on the international fora. It looks like Pakistan is the only country which believes and trusts in terror and keeps unleashing in on other countries.

While everyone else is thinking of business and development, Pakistan is a country that wants to keep the cauldron of unrest continue to boil in Afghanistan, Baluchistan and India. Accepting Bahrain's award on Saturday, the Prime Minister said, "I feel very honoured and fortunate to be awarded The King Hamad Order of the Renaissance.

I am equally honoured by your majesty's friendship for me and for my country." In fact, with these two latest awards, six countries from the Islamic world have, over the last five years, bestowed the Indian Prime Minister with their top honours and cemented his position as a friend of the Middle East.

The first Islamic country was Saudi Arabia in April 2016 which awarded him the 'King Abdulaziz Sash Award', followed by Afghanistan in June 2016 with 'Amir Amanullah Khan Award'. This was followed by Palestine, which conferred the 'Grand Collar of the State of Palestine' in February 2018.

Earlier this year in June, it was the Maldives, which conferred 'Rule of Nishan Izzuddeen'. Why would all these countries confer such awards on the Indian Prime Minister, if his rule is a tyrant one as Pakistan claims? On the other hand, Pakistanis themselves admit that there is a history of relations between these countries and India.

Pak Foreign Minister went a step ahead and said he would soon meet the UAE Foreign Minister and tell him it was wrong to do so. And then do what? Take away the award from Modi? Then he goes on to claim that India has pushed RSS terrorists into Kashmir valley to create a mayhem so that it could blame Pakistan for the same. These weirdos cannot think better.

At the same breath he asks the Indian Supreme Court not to delay hearing into the seven petitions (against abolition of special status to Kashmir) and not to bow down to the pressure exerted by Modi.

What does he think of our Supreme Court? Is this their own Supreme Court? A few days ago, Pakistani leaders said India will be safe in the hands of Nehru-Gandhi pariwar, but not under Modi. Shows how much they fear Modi.
