There is a flurry of activities during winter months in Hyderabad – its almost like everyone has been sleeping to suddenly wake up to good weather, beautiful sky and great outdoors. Restaurants roll up their window shades allowing the pleasant winter sun to lighten up their interiors and Sunday brunches take the opportunity to step out and turn into these grand affairs with live music, live barbeque, overflowing bar counters, children running around the pool, families chilling out to their heart's content
Poolside exotica
Taj Krishna for the first time brought their Sunday brunch out of the interiors of Encounters, their coffee shop to the poolside. The best part of the outdoors of this Taj property is the greenery flanking the pool, making for a great vibe. In addition to regular features like live grills (sea-food grills are a must-try, by the way) and music, what gives this brunch the edge are the buffet counters showcasing popular dishes from the two award-winning speciality restaurant, Golden Dragon, serving the Chinese cuisine and Firdaus, popular for its Mughlai and Hyderabadi dishes. You get to taste the Haleem and gosht biryani alongside pastas and pizzas make it an expansive menu to be enjoyed at a leisurely pace.
