There shouldn't be a boundary for food eating. What matters is eating right food at right time, nothing more, nothing less, said Celebrity Chef and TV Host Vicky Ratnani. The most celebrated Chef, who had an opportunity to serve food to Nelson Mandela while on a ship was in Hyderabad on an invitation from Shilpa Datla, Chairperson of YFLO.

He believes that a global pantry is a must in every kitchen, even though he is a desi soul. He shared, "This morning in a hotel where I stayed in Hyderabad, I fell in love with Karam Podi mixed with ghee. Though it was little bit spicy, it was full of flavours. Wherever I travel I pick up local ingredients and mix with the food that I prepare to give new twist and flavour." There shouldn't be boundaries to food, he added.

"We make flat chapattis, but with the same ingredients westerners make pasta. Though cultures are different but there are lot of similarities. Basics as far as food is concerned are similar to every culture. I have been living in India for the past eleven years. I make pasta with my kind of spices," he said.

Among the dishes he demonstrated to the members, there was his fusion rooted in the region – Gongura Pasta. "I love Gongura," he revealed.

Vicky Ratnani is also an author and his web series Vicky The Gastronaut, is very popular and has well over 10 million views.
