She speaks about the spirit of adventure, her concept for 'Hidesign' bags brand during an interview."I always value products that have a story. 'Hidesign' is consistent as a brand. My connection with Dilip Kapur goes back to my childhood. There is a comfort and shared history and values. 90 per cent of its employees are women and I am learning something new with designing.

It has that classic timeless style and yet they are open to new ideas. With its commitment to vegetable tanning and slow craftsmanship, Hidesign has been a brand I have admired for years. When Dilip suggested a second collection with the theme of adventure I got quite excited thinking of my own trips and the kind of bags I would want to carry every day."

What does adventure mean to you? "Getting out of your comfort zone." She adds, "HidesignxKalki collection represents the kind of woman our customers aspire to be—ambitious, independent and glamorous."

About her style statement and says, "I would define my style as eclectic. This represents me.""I think the best way is to be what you are and don't filter what you think. Off-screen, I tend to be quiet, introspective, emotional and instinctive, but every once in a while, I speak my mind in a way that shakes people up."

About her new web series and other projects, she says, "'Made in Heaven' on Amazon prime has just released. I am working on an experimental Tamil project called 'Emma and Angel'. The character is complex and vulnerable. I may not relate to the elite background that she belongs to, but, in terms of her emotional baggage, I could associate with her."

The character Faiza of 'Made in Heaven' is bold she says, "It was actually a tough time in my life, I was going through heartbreak and insomnia and Faiza's character was not a cheerful counter to that. But my crew and co-actors and directors were so wonderful to work with that it balanced it out."

"I just think web series is more like life, an ongoing drama that we can all relate to in some way," she adds. Acting is important for her be it for a movie or a web series, she says, "Why should I choose shooting for movie over web series? Acting is my big adventure. It's important for me as an actor to push boundaries. I want to do every genre and have the opportunity to stretch myself as an actor."
