How did you come into photography?

Photography is a passion from college days. I came specifically into capturing newborns and babies because of my kids. My kids are my inspiration.

Is photography, a hobby or profession for you?

It is my profession. I am a certified professional newborn and baby photographer from Hyderabad.

Other than photography what do you do?

I am a mother to twin boys; that occupies my time when I am not working.

What do you specialise in?

Newborn, maternity and baby photography are my specialisations. Apart from these, I also specialise in glamorous portraits of women.

How do you handle gender bias in this profession?

I do not see much gender bias in newborn and baby photography, at least for now

What do your friends and relatives think about your career?

It is like any other job. Every job requires support of the family. My family and friends are very supportive of my career and are very proud of where I am today.

Which is the best shoot that you cherish?

The first time I did a newborn shoot on my own. - Apart from shoot, it was also the moment when someone booked a session right in their second month of pregnancy.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

As a professional, documenting every mother's journey from pregnancy to their family portraits! I strongly believe every woman be it single or a mother is glamourous.
