Tell us about yourself

As a make-up artist, I offer make-up, hair styling and nail art in the studio named after me,Tanya Bansal. I did my MBA in tourism and travel and then I pursued my fashion media make-up from 'Pearl Academy of Fashion'.

I have a degree in make-up and also got certified for nail art by 'Nails Spa by Gurpreet.

What made you open this studio?

I was very passionate about nails and make-up and my husband supported me to move ahead with the studio.

It was always there in my mind to open a studio like this and finally in the month of April this year I had opened this one of its kind studio. The studio looks cozy so that the people would love to visit this place again and again.

What does your studio offer?

We offer nail extensions, nail designs and nail art. We also offer bridal make-up, retro make-up and baby shower make-up. We are into hair styling also.

Moisturise your skin well which is important for your make-up to come out perfectly on your skin.

What is unique about your studio?

Something special about our studio is that we are very passionate about our work; we do not do it commercially.

My major goal is to keep the customers happy in a small and a confined space which is cute and comfortable to sit in and watch videos on Netflix and other sites.

Since it is a time-taking process, it is also kid and pet-friendly studio.

What were the challenges you had to face?

Initially we did not get clients immediately. As and when people started visiting this place we got word-of-mouth publicity that helped us grow.

There was a marketing company of my brother-in-law and he helped me in marketing the studio on social media.

What is the price range of the nail art package?

We have different prices for everything. We have separate price for extension and the nail art as well.

They are reasonable that everyone can afford; we want to target all the audience.

What tips do you give for people who wish to grow nails but have issues?

Nails are just like hair, they might grow strong or they might break.

The product quality makes difference, so I would suggest giving your nails a break and going on with the manicure.

What plans do you have going forward?

As of now I have not planned anything, but then there are a lot of times when we say 'no' to our clients for want of time and space, so we wish to cater to more of our customers.
