CBSE declared Class XII 2019 results, 83.4 pass percentage

On Thursday the Central Board for Secondary Education (CBSE) published the results of Class XII for all regions on the official website of the board: cbse.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in.

The total pass percentage for the country is 83.4%. The region with the highest percentage of pass out is Thiruvananthapuram with 98.2%, followed by Chennai with 92.93% and Delhi with 91.87%. The percentage of students who passed in international schools is 95.43%.

Hansika Shukla and Karishma Arora stood out in the exam with a score of 499 out of 500.

Girls similar to last year performed better than boys by 9%. Approximately 88.70% of girls passed, followed by transgender people with 83.3% and boys with 79.4%.

The Kendriya Vidyalaya schools had a pass percentage of 98.54%, the Tibetan schools had 96%, the schools assisted by the government had 88.49% and the private schools were the lowest of the lot with 82.59%.

The board conduct the Secondary Exam (Class 10) and the Upper Secondary Exam (Class 12) for the academic session of the year 2018-19 in February-March 2019.

About 13 lakh students appeared for the class 12 exam held by the CBSE.

Students who submitted for the class 12 2019 exam can also check their results on other websites such as cbse.examresults.net, cbseresults.nic.in and results.gov.in.
