IIT JAM 2020 application started from Sept 5, apply online

IIT JAM 2020 application form has been released on 5th September 2019. Candidates can fill their application form through online mode. This examination will be conducted by the IIT Kanpur on behalf of Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD). This is a national level entrance examination which is conducted to offer admission in M.Sc., M.Sc. Ph.D., M.Sc. Ph.D. dual degree programmes.

Registration Details:

IIT JAM 2020Application form can be filled only through online mode. Any other mode will not be entertained to fill the application form. Registration process include application filling process, uploading of documents, fee payment etc. Candidates must fill correct details in application form.

Application form will be submitted till the 8thOctober 2019. Correction facility will also be provided by the authorities in the application form.  

Data required while filling the application form:

• Eligibility degree details

• Jam papers

• Choice of examination center

• Copy of category certificate

• College name & address with pin code

• Image of photograph and signature

• Credit card/ debit car etc. details for payment of fee

• ID proof

Application Fee:

Application fee can be paid through online mode using credit card/ debit card or net banking. Fee will be refundable, in case fee has been debited from your account but JOAPS does not acknowledged fee payment.

How to Apply for IIT JAM 2020

Candidates can check following steps to fill the application form:

• Visit the officialwebsite.

• Click on the 'JOAPS' tab.

• Enter registration details and click on 'submit' button.

• An enrollment ID will be send to your registered email ID or mobile number.

• Now login using login credentials.

• Fill the application form correctly and carefully.

• Upload your passport size photograph and signature in the application form.

• Submit all the details and click on 'proceed to payment' button.

• Take printouts of the filled application form and keep it secure for other procedures.

• IIT JAM admit card will be available on 7th January 2020.

Eligibility Criteria for IIT JAM 2020

Candidates must pass bachelor's degree from any recognized university/ institutes. Candidates must secure minimum of 55% marks or 5.5 out of 10 (for SC/ AT/ PWD candidates – 50% or 5.0 out of 10) marks in their qualifying examination. There are no age limit criteria. IIT JAM 2020 examination will be conducted on 9th February 2019 through online mode.
