JNTU-H all set to fill up 154 vacant posts
Hyderabad: The University Grants Commission (UGC) has cleared the air on the reservation policy to be adopted by universities for recruitment of faculty. JNTU-H is set to release the required recruitment notification by the end of this month.
With UGC's directions, JNTU-H expedited the recruitment process and is expected to invite applications from eligible candidates in the upcoming weeks.
Speaking about their move, a top official from the university said, "Earlier, there were issues regarding the reservation system. Now that everything is clear, the university plans to recruit associate and assistant professors. Details of the roster and reservation systems were obtained from the Social Welfare Department and soon the notification will be issued. As the election code prevailed in Telangana, the process for professors' recruitment was held back. The interviews will be held shortly and notified posts will be filled up,"
