JNU Admissions 2020: Apply on jnuexams.nta.nic.in, check eligibility and schedule

JNU Admissions 2020 Applications Begins

NTA (National Testing Agency) has released the notification for the Jawaharlal Nehru University or JNU Admissions 2020 Entrance Examination. NTA would conduct the JNUEE 2020 in May. Candidates seeking admissions in UG, PG or PhD programs at the varsity should apply online on jneexams.nta.nic.in. JNU Admission 2020 applications are live now.

Candidates should note that the eligibility and the examination pattern would remain the same. As per the notification, students can start filling the applications online from today- March 2, 2020, until March 31, 2020.

JNU Entrance examination would be a Computer Based Test. Once the official notice is released, details would be announced. Updates about the same would be available on this page and also on nta.ac.in.

JNU Admissions 2020: Eligibility and Age Limit for Application

The minimum educational qualification for the examinations remains the same for undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate courses. Candidates applying for UG must qualify their class 12 or equivalent. Students in grade 12 and appearing for their board exams can also apply. Likewise, students who completed their graduation can apply for PG and so on.

Minimum Age limit for B.A. (Hons.) Programme is 17 years as on October 1 2020. For any other programme, there is no age bar. Detailed School wise eligibility criteria can be found on the JNU Admission 2020 Information Bulletin provided here.

JNU Admissions 2020: How to Apply

Interested and eligible candidates need to apply online on jnuexams.nta.nic.in. Now the link for online application is active on the official website.

Just register online, upload the essential documents and pay the fees for the examination. The list of states where the exam would be held is available in the notification. For the examination centres, candidates should give at least 4 options.

Also, a candidate can apply for a maximum of three areas of study of their choice for the same level of Programme. So, a student can apply for three programs for UG, PG etc. Single Application Form needs to be filled by the student, clearly specifying the preference of fields of study for admission.
