Kakinada: JNTU to conduct GATE online coaching

Kakinada: Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTU-K) Vice Chancellor M Ramalingarau said that GATE online coaching classes for third and fourth year B Tech students will commence on May 11.

Ramalinga Raju said in the first phase, the classes would be held from May 11 to 22 for ECE, EEE, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, CSE and Information Technology students.

He said they should register their names online and the classes would be conducted through YouTube channel. Weblink would be sent one hour before the start and the students should join YouTube 10 minutes before it.

JNTU-K faculty Development Centre Director Prof V Srinivasulu said that 60,000 students had registered for more than 70 subjects through web portal for online coaching.

Out of them 40,000 were third and fourth year students. Higher Education Council Chairman K Hemachandra Reddy said that the students should use the opportunity to achieve good results.
