Over 9.65 lakh students to appear for Inter exams from March 4 in Telangana

Hyderabad: As many as 9,65,839 candidates will appear for the Intermediate Public Theory Examinations (IPE - March 2020) to be held from 4th to 18th March across the State. Exams will be held from 8.45 am to 12 noon. A Control Room will function with the Telephone No. 040-24600110.

The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) has set up 1,339 examination centres and will be deploying one Chief Superintendent and Departmental Officer for each centre. A total of 25,550 invigilators will also be deployed. Of 9.65 lakh candidates, 4,80,516 are of First Year and 4,85,323 of Second year.

According to TSBIE, the hall tickets are placed in the TSBIE website: tsbie.cgg.gov.in and all the students can download the Hall tickets from the website from February 28, 12 noon onwards. Chief Superintendents have been clearly instructed and informed that the hall tickets downloaded by the students need not be signed by anybody. Nobody shall insist for signature of any authority on these downloaded hall tickets. The college principals are also enabled to download the Hall Tickets in their login. Further, the college principals have been instructed that no Hall Ticket of any student shall be held back under any circumstances including non- payment of college fee.

Candidates have been asked to carefully verify the correctness of their Names, Medium, Subjects appearing etc., written in their hall tickets, well before the commencement of examination. If any discrepancy is noticed, It should be got rectified by the Principal of the College. There will be a local District Control Room in the office of DIED where complaints of any nature can be lodged. The students can also give their complaint online through the BIGRS (Grievance Redressal System) from anywhere and at any time

A Control Room is also created in the BIE head office having telephone number 040-24600110 and it will work from 6 AM to 8 PM.

The TSBIE has created a Centre Locator Application to students to locate their exam centre and to reach In time. This App can be downloaded from mobile Google Playstore with App name as TSBIE m-Services, powered by Centre for Good Governance. All the students have been requested to utilize the application and visit their exam centre one or two days in advance. Students should work out how much time it takes to reach the exam centre during peak traffic, so that there is no problem on the day of exam.
