Telangana Government weighs options to reopen schools in June
Hyderabad: The State government is reportedly weighing options to reopen the schools following several representations of the Telangana State Recognised School Managements' Association (TASMA).
The schools may be opened between June 15 and June 25, according to sources. As part of the exercise, the government is weighing options to reopen schools after the SSC examinations.
Besides, it is also collecting the data related to the plans of action for reopening of schools in other States in the country. Further, the DEOs have been asked to collect details of the teaching, non-teaching staff, their salaries, grants and the problems faced by the private schools in the State.
The TSRSMA State president Y Sekhara Rao has asked the correspondents of the private schools to prepare the schools for reopening by taking up repairs to electricity, furniture and other infrastructure besides carrying out sanitization of the school premises and operation of school buses.
