TS EAMCET 2021 likely to be delayed

TS EAMCET may be delayed in Telangana in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. According to the officials, the entrance exam will be conducted is likely to be conducted in June which is a month later than the usual exam date. Every year, the EAMCET exam is held in the first week of May.

However, due to the pandemic, the exam was conducted in September this year.

The dates for TS EAMCET 2021 will be finalized by the officials depending on the intermediate public examinations, 2021. A detailed exam schedule for the intermediate will be announced in January.

Subsequently, the Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET), the Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET), the Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (PGECET), the Law Common Entrance Test and the PGLCET will also be delayed and will be held after TS EAMCET.

This year, the EAMCET was delayed by four months and a total 1,43,326 candidates had registered for the engineering stream, of which 1,19,183 appeared and 89,734 qualified while in the Agriculture and Medicine stream, 78,981 candidates registered, of which 63,857 appeared and 59,113 qualified.
