UPSC to hold civil services prelims exam 2020 on Oct 4

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will conduct the Civil Services exam 2020 (prelims) on 4 October and mains exam on January 8, 2021. The exams were postponed in view of the lockdown imposed by the government to contain the spread of the coronavirus.

The prelims exam of Indian Forest Services will be held along with the civil services exams while the mains exam will be held on February 28, 2021.

The admit cards release, exam centres and the guidelines to be followed will be informed to the candidates soon. The UPSC is expected to announce new rules this time in the view of the coronavirus outbreak.

The UPSC civil services prelims exam was supposed to held on March 31 but was postponed due to the lockdown.

The Indian Economic Services Exam/ Statistical Services Exam will be conducted on October 16.

The Combined Medical Services Examination is scheduled to be held on October 22.

The NDA/ Naval Academy Examination exam is scheduled for September 6.

The Central Armed Police Forces (ACs) Examination will be on December 20.

The UPSC in its notification has also stated that the dates of the examinations may vary depending on the situation.
