Agitating farmers, adamant Modi

The Prime Minister of India is adamant and deaf towards the farmers of India by bringing unfavourable laws for farmers and favourable to private sectors. The Central government is working hard to help top-most industrialists to control the farmers and farmer-related activities. The democratically elected government is planning and executing for the benefit of private sectors and thus proving anti-common citizens.

Today, thousands of farmers are on the roads in severe climatic conditions, but the Central government is so adamant in its decision. It is so stupid on the part of the government to introduce laws in farm sector without taking farmers into confidence. It is ridiculous that non-farmers (businessmen & politicians) are taking decisions with which they are not directly connected. Schoolchildren offered food and beverages to the striking farmers while the so-called people's government is stubborn. The Delhi University Teachers Association has extended its support to farmers.

The farmers in Kolkata have conducted a protest rally against the new farm laws. The intellectual community of the country is against the new farm laws and the anti-people government at the Centre does not bother about it. The Central government is totally in favour of capitalists, corporates and industrialists. That is the only reason with which they began their favouritism by privatisation of telephones, railways, airways and education. Still the people are voting to the BJP and it is a clear indication that Indians are not mature enough to choose better leaders. Unfortunately, no statesman is in this country to plan and work for the betterment of common citizens. The non-BJP State governments should come out openly and support the present farmer's movement. The Modi government has long ago forgotten the meaning of "secularism and socialism", two ideals that are incorporated in the Constitution of this country. The secular and socialistic ideas in practice alone are suitable to countries like India with its existing social and religious diversity. It is really a great insult to the country to see thousands of farmers on roads nearer to the country's capital. Let us all unanimously pray to God Almighty to change the attitude of Modi in favour of the agitating farmers.
