Follow balanced diet and focus on fitness

When the whole world is talking about the havoc of lockdown, I am worried about the gain I got during this period. My lifestyle had lot of hustle-and-bustle and always craved to relax for sometime.

Lockdown was new a experience that lead to lot of confusion and adding more work to the existing ones. The life became almost immobile with mobile unavoidable in hands. All the professional activities, financial transactions, literary work, communication, entertainment, meetings etc. warranted the use of mobile phones or other electronic gadgets which created more discomfort rather than easing our lives. In pursuit of increasing immunity and to prepare the body to battle with coronavirus, there is a noticeable increase in the intake of food.

After a month of lockdown I have realised that along with immunity, I gained weight as an additional consequence of lockdown. Mentally and emotionally we were stressed, leaving our bodies to relax without any proper physical exercise apart from household chores. Lockdown made us perceive the importance of balanced diet but failed to make us alert about the physical fitness.

Lockdown left us in financial crunch, emotional distress, social distancing and a gain in physical heaviness which is more displeasing to me and many like me.
