Yogi is becoming a baby again

Sometimes people look to the spiritual path when they encounter disappointment. Every child is born with spiritual knowledge and as you grow up, you start losing that. Yogi is becoming a baby again. Get in touch with your pure essence and you don't need a yoga teacher to do it. Just look at a baby from the time it is born, to the age of 3. They will teach you everything. But you have to observe them every day for all the three years. The way they breathe, the way they smile. They feel so connected with everybody.

Everyone has child-like qualities in them. When one is a yogi, this happens automatically. There is naturalness in life. Everyone seems to be one's own. Ego, any kind of self identity that one has, gets dissolved. A baby smiles, cries and radiates love from every cell of the body.

Your baby radiates love with one look. That is why a baby is superior to a monk. If you ask a baby or a small child of 3 years what they want. They will look at you and say 'nothing'.

Our actions were expressions of joy. A yogi never wishes bad for anybody. As a baby, you had this tendency. At the most you become angry but never used abusive words. Once a devotee asked a swami, "What is the point of chanting? I can just as well say donkey or something else." The next day Swami said, "Your father is a donkey." The devotee got angry and retorted, "How dare you say such things?" Swami explained, "When I called your father a donkey, it had an effect similarly good words too produce an effect?" Be like a baby. They never hold any grudge against anybody. Yoga is bringing us back to that stage. When your mind is united in yoga, united with the self, naturally you become positive.
