All about offering solutions

Hyderabad: Nitin Shakya, who secured 704 All India Rank in prestigious 2018 UPSC Civils examination, shares his preparation strategy and experiences of cracking the Civils exam and gave aspirants the tips on how to crack the civils at the event "Analog Topper's Talk" organised by Analog IAS Academy at Ashoknagar Crossroads in Hyderabad.

In his talk, Nitin Shakya said, "Civil Services Exam is not merely an intelligence test but the eligibility test for an administrative officer. So, when you write answers for the exam, it's not enough to show off how much you know about the problem. It is equally important to offer solutions for the given problem."

To cover the vast syllabus of the exam, Nitin advised the aspirants to divide the topic into sub-topics and prepare point-wise notes on each of the topic.Then make a summary and keep revising again and again.

While mentioning the Ethics Paper in the exam, Nitin explained, "The need for the introduction of the ethics paper in the Civil Services Examination was long felt, so that an thical sense can be inculcated among the budding civil servants. And what can be better than making one's ethical ideas as one of the grounds for choosing the future IAS, IPS and IFS officers."

During the felicitation of Nitin's success, Srikanth Vinnakota, Director – Analog IAS Academy, said, "Your hard work, confidence and determination is truly commendable. The Society needs dedicated and hard work people like you, and you can do that for the benefit of the people in the society". About 200 Civil Service aspirants from various institutions participated in the talk and inspired by the tips shared by Nitin Shakya.
