Andhra University helps every student get employment says V-C PVGD Prasada Reddy
Visakhapatnam: The Andhra University is taking steps to make every student employable by improving their soft skills and personality development, said Prof. PVGD Prasada Reddy, Vice-Chancellor, here on Friday.
Prof. Prasada Reddy handed over the appointment orders to 18 students, who were selected in Campus Placement drive conducted by the Sibana Tech company in Andhra University here today.
Prof. Reddy said that the Andhra University is gearing up to take lead in conducting recruitment drives as Visakhapatnam has become the Administrative Capital. He thanked the Chief Minister for taking steps to develop all the areas in the State equally.
He said that this is the first campus recruitment successfully conducted after Visakhapatnam became administrative capital.
On this occasion, the Vice-Chancellor congratulated Dr. Challa Krishnaveer Abhishek, Soft Skills Trainer cum Faculty of Andhra University for training the candidates on employability skills and soft skills. Prof. V. Krishnamohan, Registrar, said that training programmes on soft skills would be conducted regularly to students to make them employable.
Prof. T.Sobhasri, Director of Centre for Gandhian Studies, Mr. Balajee, Managing Director of Sibana Tech, Dr.Krishnaveer Abhishek, Soft Skills Trainer cum Faculty, Dr.Asha, Dr.Suribabu and others spoke.
