Be inquisitive and find opportunities

Hyderabad: Hyderabad Management Association Student Chapter of GITAM Hyderabad Business School organised a lecture by Venkat Changavalli, Advisor to Government of Telangana and Haryana, as a part of "Student Development Programme" at GITAM, Hyderabad Campus, on Monday.

He shared his life-time experience with the students. He advised the students to be inquisitive to find opportunities in converting their ideas in to actionable experiments. He mentioned that his ability to take up challenging experiments in his life proved to be the main reason for his achievements. One such experiment is 'Dial 100' which is his own brain child. Thus EMRI services are presently saving lives of millions of people in 15 States and 2 Union Territories.

He emphasised on the importance of personal integrity while serving the organisation and the society while recalling the lessons he learned during his association with Bharat Ratna Dr. Abdul Kalam at EMRI.

Changavalli authored a book titled "Manage, Live and Lead", an inspirational guide for managers, students and citizens. . He concluded his speech by asking the students to hold on to their values and take charge of their lives with discipline courage and ownership.
