Bharat Scouts, Guides orientation programme

Hyderabad: Bhavan's Vivekananda College, Sainikpuri organised an orientation programme for the new unit of "The Bharat Scouts and Guides" in its college on Tuesday. The motto of Bharat scouts and guides is "Be prepared". Bhavans Vivekananda College is the first degree college in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states to have introduced "The Bharat Scouts and Guides" unit (Rovers and Rangers).

The event was graced by the presence of Mohan Rao LT (Rover Dist. Training commissioner scouts), Lakshmi Bai Ranger leader of Sharadha team of BVC.

Prof Y Ashok, Principal of the college congratulated the new rangers and rovers of the college unit. Y Vijay Lakshmi and Chandan Babu, Bharat Scouts and Guide, coordinators, welcomes the new unit of the college.

The Bharat Scouts and Guides unit was introduced with an objective to train young minds physically and intellectually to become responsible citizens of India.
