Hyderabad: Class XII 2020 batch of DPS, Nacharam bids adieu
Hyderabad: The campus was a riot of colours on Saturday as Delhi Public School Nacharam bid adieu to its Class XII students. The theme 'I, Me, Myself – The Journey' saw both the teachers and students going down memory lane. It all began on an auspicious note with the lighting of the lamp and the prayer. Principal Sunitha Rao addressed the students wishing them well for their upcoming exams and future. Chairman M Komaraiah's words of wisdom will also be a cherished memory for the students. Director M Pallavi interacted with the students stressing the importance of values on the eve of venturing out into the wider world as DPS ambassadors.
The students of class XI enthralled all with their mesmerising performances. The highlight of the event was the ramp walk by Class 12 students and their competing for various titles like Mr/Ms. DPS, Ms. Congeniality, Ms. Elegance, Livewire etc. The release of the yearbook was like the icing on the cake. The nostalgia of the event was palpable.
Vice Principal Nandita Sunkara motivated the students to put their best foot forward and carve a niche for themselves by dreaming big. School honoured the students who journeyed with DPS Nacharam for past 15 years with a special certificate and all the students with school memento.
The outgoing batch of 2020 expressed their gratitude to the school management and teachers remembering their days with fondness with a statue of Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. They vouched for the fact that DPS Nacharam helped mould them into the confident youngsters and felt sad to leave the portals of their alma mater.
