Concentration is achieved through meditation

Hyderabad: A certification programme on human excellence was organised by Vivekananda Institute of Human Excellence, Hyderabad at Annamacharya Institute of Technology and Sciences(Autonomous), Rajampet. A talk on Meditation for transformation was delivered by Sri Bodhamayananda Swamiji, Director, Vivekananda Institute of human excellence, Ramakrishna Math, Hyderabad for first year B.Tech students.

He spoke that each soul is potentially divine. The goal is to manifest divinity by controlling internal and external nature. It is only possible by work, philosophy, devotion and psychology. He advised the students that success could be possible with the proper working with hands in a meticulous way.

He said that mind is the instrument through which people catch the external world . He also spoke that all concentration is achieved through meditation.

Finally Swamiji gave numerous illustrations of real life situations and asked the students to imbibe human values through meditation. Dr. SMV Narayana –Principal advised the students to emulate Swamiji and work towards the welfare of the society. Certificates were distributed to students.

The management of the college felicitated Sri Swamiji. Dr. B. Bala Nagendra Prasad-Head, Humanities and Sciences, Deans, Heads of various departments, Faculty were present.
